Can you provide a refund if I can’t come to the event?
We’re sorry to say that we do not offer refunds, as is the case for most events. If we cancel the event, then a refund will be provided, minus a small admin fee. Our tickets are always under £30 and as a small promotor, we simply could not afford to plan and invest in events if we had to refund anyone that changed their plans or could not come. You can resell your tickets safetly on the Tixel platform – see beow.
What is the age limit for your events?
The age limit is 18. Most of the venues we work with have an 18 age limit. We are also keen to create an adult space – a place for you to relax and have fun, so we have an over-18s policy.
Can I swap my ticket or sell it to someone else if I can’t come?
We use Tixel as a safe and easy place where you can resell tickets.To sell your ticket please go to tixel.com/sell and follow the prompts.If you have already found a buyer for your ticket but want to complete the transaction safely, you can create a private sale by selecting the ‘make my listing private’ option at the final step.
Historically we used our Facebook community but we were recently targeted by scammers and so this is no longer a safe place to advertise your tickets. Please only use Tixel.You can’t swap your ticket to another event, unless there are very special circumstances. ticket.
What does the ticket price include?
As a general rule your ticket price includes entry to the night – the disco, and also face painting by the brilliant Sophie Starlight – whom we pay for so you can have your glitter done for free. Glitter is usually available for two hours – so make sure you get in the queue early.
Does your event always finish at 11.00pm?
As a rule, yes. Sometimes at 11.30pm – please check your ticket confirmation and event information.
Do you always do events on Thursdays?
Mostly we can only do a Thursday as the venues we work with are open to the general public on Fridays and could not give us the whole venue for the night. It is very important to us that we create a safe and friendly space for our customers and so we want the whole venue. We have occasionally done events on Fridays and may do again, but we find that Thursdays suit us as we can have a great party that is just for our customers and not with lots of other people that have a different expectation of a club night. Town centres are also less busy on a Thursday and we think more friendly. Thursday is the new Friday 🙂
Do your DJs take requests on the night?
If the DJ does not seem busy you can certaintly ask – there are no guarantees but they will try to accommodate you. Our DJs have worked with us for sixteen years and are professionals with a lot of experience. They can judge from the reaction to music what is going down well and it is their job to respond and play more great music. They have filled our dance floors for many years and we think they get it pretty spot on. Please remember there are over 200 people at the events all with slightly different tastes. If you don’t like a song, be patient and something you like will come on. If you have a song you really want played, better to post a friendly request on socials in advance. We play a mix of current music, mainstream pop and dance music, music from 70s/80s/90s/00s to now.
What time does the dancing start?
Doors open at between 6.30 and 7pm (check your ticket and socials for details) for most of our events, with most people arriving between 7-8.30 pm. Mostly people like to catch up with their friends and chat and get a drink or eat for the first hour or two. Therrefore the dancefloor tends to get busy at around 8.30-9.00pm. But ultimately, when the dancing starts is up to you! We will turn the music up around 8pm, before it people seem ready. Fee free to ask the DJ for a certai kind of music at this early stage, when they are not as busy as they will be later.
Are non alocoholic drinks and tap water available?
Yes – our venues have a good range of non alcoholic drinks and mocktaiks. Tap water is either availabe on request, and at some venues there are tap water stations for you to use.
What food is on offer, and are there vegetarian and vegan options?
Different venues offer different food, however all venues do have vegetarian and vegan options. The Tivoli offersburgers, including a plant burger, and also pizzas, including a vegetarian option.
Can you tell me more about the Norwich event?
On October 9th 2025 we are expanding to Norwich. The venue is in central Norwich at the St Andrew’s Brewhouse – which is a sister pub to the Tivoli. This will be a smaller event (80 ish people) but with all the same elements – great music from 80s/90s to now, glitter facepaint, great food and drink and lots of lovely people.
