Best One Yet?
We think so. Thanks to everyone for making our 1st Birthday Party such a great night. ENC traditions of drinking far too much Prosecco, dancing on the tables and rocking out to everything from Prince, the Stone Roses & Lionel Richie (you know who you are…) were upheld – and long may they continue.Thanks to Vicky for the delicious mini cupcakes and to Essensuals for the goody bags. Did you check yours? It wasn’t all marketing bumf you know! Some of you had winning tickets – one free meal at La Raza, a few free bottles of wine, loads of vouchers for La Raza and discounts for hair and beauty treatments.
You can use them all at the next one – Thursday 22nd April*, (a post-Easter Party).

ANOTHER SELL OUT
You gotta be quick these days if you want to go to the hottest party in town. We’re all sold out for February birthday party with most tickets selling in the first two days of being on sale, so remember get your tickets early for the next one which will be our Easter bash in April sometime…date coming soon.Also coming soon are details of a competition to win dinner for two at La Raza for our birthday party and more great goodies and promotions so keep checking the site and Facebook page.

The Early Night Club 1st Birthday Party.
Thursday 11th February, 2010 at La Raza, Rose Crescent, Cambridge.Well Christmas and New Year may be over, but we’re already planning the next big party, because February 11th will be our birthday – The Early Night Club will be one year old – and we are going to throw the best party yet.
The Christmas Special however, will be hard to top. Having sold out a month in advance, we had a feeling it was going to be a good one – and you didn’t disappoint us. The champagne and cocktails flowed, sequins sparkled and the dance floor was packed all night long.
So pop February 11th in your diary as the date to stop the detox, get out your sparkly tops (and that’s just the boys!) and get back on the dance floor.
We have lots of surprises planned for our birthday extravaganza– including some bumper birthday goody bags (the Christmas ones were just a taster of what’s coming) – so if you want to be one of the lucky ones – get your tickets early.

Shock horror! With a little less than a month to go, we’ve already sold out for our Early Night Club Christmas Special at La Raza on Thursday 10th December. Apologies to everybody still trying to get tickets.

THE EARLY NIGHT CLUB CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
Many thanks to everybody who turned up to the Early Night Club last Thursday. Never did we think we’d see the day that a bunch of Mums and Dads would be moshing to Dizzy Rascal at 11.45pm (steady!) on a Thursday night, but it seems that time has come.
Last Thursday La Raza was packed full of you lovely people, getting down to some of your favourite tunes, whether you were a bit of a Ravy Davy or a Motown Mover, we tried to play something for everyone and by and large I think we managed it.
Apologies that things didn’t get going as early as usual (we had some technical problems with the volume), but we have been assured that all this will be ironed out for the Christmas Special in December.
Thanks to Rachel our brave volunteer DJ and to the even braver DJ Matt who deals with your many wide and varied tastes on a regular basis!
Please book early for our December event (Thursday 10th December) as many many people have pledged attendance to what is sure to be a great night…work dos, girls nights out, boys nights out, mixed group of random friends nights out…why, even Santa and his Elves may even be there, but not if they don’t get in quick and buy a ticket (sorry, no special treatment for you Santa Baby or your vertically challenged friends).

EARLY NIGHT CLUB TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
We’re excited to let you know that tickets for the Early Night Club on Thursday 8th October at La Raza will be available to buy online from Monday 7th September at 09.00am for just £5.50. Just go to http://www.webticketing.net/the-early-night-club/ – it’s that simple. The online sale will end at 18.00pm on the day of the event – Thursday 8th October.
If you’d prefer not to buy online, there’ll also be tickets available direct from Alex, Vicky & Nick as usual. There will also be some tickets available on the door at £6.00 but please try and buy early to avoid missing out.
We’re really looking forward to seeing you all on the 8th October and don’t forget that our Christmas special will be held at La Raza on Thursday 10th December. Tickets for the December event will be available from mid-October.

ENC BACK FOR OCTOBER & LETTING YOU DJ!
The Early Night Club will be back with vengeance on October 8th, so get your babysitters booked and your glad rags out. Feedback from you has been that you love the night but that you want more of your kind of music played.
Now pleasing everyone is a tough job and our DJs do sterling work dealing with all your many different requests – from Footloose to Lady Gaga – so we have decided to give them a bit of a break and hand the floor over to you.
So to become an Early Night Club DJ for at least some of the night please leave a message here or post your tunes on our Facebook Group. The first hour and a half will be tunes from your playlists (3 – 5 songs each). If you rock the place perhaps you could be our new warm-up DJ and if your list gets the most people dancing you could win a chilled bottle of Prosecco!
We also have decided to run the nights every two months rather than once a month, so December 10th will be our next one, a great Christmas party night out!
We will continue to use the night’s to raise funds for our preferred charities – we are open to suggestions, but will be helping raise funds for some local primary schools in October.
So get thinking of your best dance floor fillers and we can’t wait to see you all again on October 8th. Tickets will be available online in September (more info to follow) or call Nick on 07818 024744 in the meantime.

THE EARLY NIGHT CLUIB SUMMER PARTY
We are having a break for the summer – but not before a big summer party on June 18th, that’s next Thursday. We’d love to see you all there for a few cocktails and a bit of a boogie. Thanks for all your support to date, lets make this one the best yet!
Tickets can be bought in advance from Manon Interiors on Magdalene Street or The Cambridge Toy Shop on Hobson Street. All tickets £5.00 – some will also be available on the door.

LADIES NIGHT AT LA RAZA…
Well once again we rocked La Raza – or at least the girls did! Where were you boys? At the Beer Festival or babysitting it seems. Well the ladies certainly know how to party and you were out and proud with your guilty pleasures, and dancing to everything from Footloose to MGMT!The La Raza bar staff certainly enjoyed serving you all cocktails and hope you’ll be back for more fun at the Early Night Club Summer Party. We are going to break for the Summer holidays – but we want to go out with a bang – so dust off your glad rags, and glam it up for our sizzling Summer party!
We know the Early Night Club is perfect for a girls night out and we love that – but we like to have a mixed crowd too. So come on boys…your Early Night Club needs you!
